At 8pm, the curtain will rise on 6 brand new plays written and rehearsed all in the last 24 hours. Join us as we present the culmination of a mad creative dash to beat the clock. Will there be mysteries? Drama? Romance? Tragedy? We don’t know! They’ve not been written yet!
About the Festival
CSP’s NEXT Playwriting Group is compressing the whole process of writing, rehearsing, and performing 6 plays into 24 hours. After the Friday night auditions for actors, the 6 writers will write 6 plays overnight. Directors will start rehearsals Saturday morning full throttle, speeding to the performance 12 hours later!
